Do you remember the first radio station that you loved?
I do. Today’s Country and all Time Favorites…101.3 WMCI. We listened to WMCI every morning on the bus to school, the Yawn Patrol with Bub & Renee or Bub & U-Turn Laverne or Bub & whoever. They were all genuinely funny and seemed to be having such a good time. Plus, when it comes to country music it doesn’t get better than the late 80′s and early 90′s…Alan Jackson, Tanya Tucker, Garth Brooks, George Straight, Lorrie Morgan, Travis Tritt and Reba, of course!
(Brian Taylor got to meet Reba a few weeks ago...& we're so jealous!)
All of those elements helped me fall in love with radio…AND for my first gig out of college…I was one half of the Yawn Patrol. I was the whoever in Bub & whoever!…on my favorite station!
